ANTI TANK NUN

"Fire Follow Me" (Metal Mind; 2013)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Anti-Tank Nun is not only a band with a great name, but they?ve got a great sound as well. The band's sound falls somewhere between Manowar pomp and arrogance to early Metallica thrash. They?ve got great guitar riffs and solos throughout. It's heavy metal in the pure sense!

Yeah, they may be a little heavy with the clich? but that only makes this record that much better in my opinion. The only downside here is that the production isn?t quite as bright as it could be, but that?s not enough to detract from the kick-ass effectiveness of "Fire Follow Me."

Anti Tank Nun: Titus - vocals, bass; Igor Gwadera - lead guitars; Adam Bielczuk - rhythm guitars; Bogumił Krakowski - Drums.
