A STATIC LULLABY

"A Static Lullaby" (Fearless Records; 2006)

Vareity is the spice of music. That keeps it fun, fresh and interesting. When I come across a CD that stimulates me, I love to write about it and it makes my job easy.

A Static Lullaby's self-titled CD is one of those records. It is quality heavy metal music that is used like a paint brush on canvas. The music is rough and assails the senses and delivers a metal punch that was most enjoyable.

The songwriting ability is great throughout and this is one CD that should be experienced loud ... extremely loud.

The only drawback I found on this CD was that the vocals sometimes sound more like the standard, run of the mill rock/punk bands that are so prevalent these days. But that's a minor complaint. A Static Lullaby rocks.
