BOTTLE ROCKETS

What can I say about The Bottle Rockets and their recording "Leftovers?" First of all, the music is way too slow and way too country for my tastes. The CD has too many ballads and way too much steel guitar for my delicate ears. The only reason "Leftovers" doesn't receive the coveted Frank Crappa is because of the CD's third track, "Coffee Monkey." Any coffee drinker in the world can identify with this tune.
The Bottle Rockers are Brian Henneman, guitar, vocals; Tom Parr, guitar, vocals; Robert Kearns, bass, vocals; Mark Ortmann, drums.
Rating Guide:
A classic. This
record will kick your ass.
Killer. Not a classic but it
will rock your world.
So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the
cover makes you wanna hurl.
