Carved In Stone is a thrashy mix of metal and hardcore.
This young band shows a lot of promise as it seems their innate hardcore being
has been spliced with enough metallic genetic material to walk a path chosen by
only a very few bands.
This three track sampler ("Set Me Free," "Success,"
"Forsaken") combines a fierce edge with inventive heaviness in the
guitars to satisfy both metal maniacs and hardcore die-hards.
Carved In Stone is Tom Kerley on drums, Kirt Senser on bass, Brian Kerley on
guitar, and Chris Aleshire on vocals.
