From the very first note, "Guardian of Eternity" is simply outstanding. You can call the music power metal, classic metal, stadium rock or whatever the hell you want but lets all agree on one thing: this music kicks ass.
I have spun this CD three or four times and I find something different with each and every spin. The music has a magical quality that transports you to the times of wizards and warlocks, only with a real metal flavor. The ability to achieve that makes Celtic Legacy a truly outstanding band. I have yet to define the complete story of this release but that's one of things I really like about it! The lyrics are a work of art and I will just have to keep spinning it until I can grasp the overall storyline.
Simply put, Celtic Legacy is one of the best bands I have had to pleasure to review.
