Churl is just as they advertise: fast and loud. And furious.

Churl is a three-piece punk band from Fairfax, Virginia with humorous undertones. Their vocals are lacking in rhythm and timing, but then what punk band is known for its lead singerís talent? What counts is the attitude.

Churl's guitar chords are catchy without being poppy, thier drumming is full throttle without being stale. And whatís actually quite intelligent about this band is their ability to incorporate hardcore sounds and patterns and ever-so subtly convert them into punk riffs. Very nicely done.

So if you like your music hard and dirty and messy, check out Churl.
