DAVID'S PLAYGROUND

"Miles To Go" (Halogen Records)

Reviewed by Snidermann

What can I say about David’s Playground except that this music is good. There may be nothing very special about this recording but this much is true: This band rocks.

Most of the music is minor key and played slowly, but the content is irresistible. The style is somewhat grunge-like and the music reminds me of Pearl Jam back when they didn’t suck.

This music may not be heavy metal but it still kicks rock'n'roll ass.

David’s Playground: Mark Cooper (Coopa) vocals and guitar, Chuck Yoho (Squanow) guitar, Rick Arsenault (Tron) guitar, Frank McDaniel (Rizzo) bass and Tim Laundry (Skinny) drums.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
