THE DEAD HEROES

"Let It Ride" (Sin Klub / Road Noise; 2004)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Punk is alive and well in the state of Michigan as is proven by The Dead Heroes' "Let It Ride.

This CD is eighteen blistering tracks of in-your-face punk rock. The music is fast and the tone is angry - angst-ridden teens will instantly identify with the total musical mayhem of this release.

The vocals get garbled a bit and are often difficult to understand but that really does nothing to make this CD less cool. This is one very talented punk trio that works hard and offers total dedication to the art of punk rock music. The only drawback I can see is that this CD suffers from "HTSS" (or Hidden Track Sucks Syndrome). I really hate to wait for a hidden track to finally play and then have it be just a waste of my time. Don't bother.

The Dead Heroes: Kirk - guitar and vocals; Tom - bass and vocals; Doug - drums.
