DOMESHOTS

"Self-Titled" (Rock Ridge Music; 2004)

As I sit here, writing this review for Domeshots "Self-Titled" CD, I find myself begin transported to a place of solid, heavy music. But Domeshots? What kind of a band name is that?

Even though I don't care much for this band's name, their "Self-Titled" CD rocks hard. This is music with purpose and is full of heartfelt lyrics that are truly inspiring. Sometimes the strange vocals drag things down a bit, but after a few spins, you can't imagine them being any other way.

This is one talented band and I really liked everything on this CD. Domeshots rocks like a mother; they're raw and edgy with plenty of spirit and attitude.

Domeshots: Danner - vocals; Jim Seishas - guitar; Eric Tamo - bass; Mike Reed - drums.
