DON'T DIE CINDY

"Most Imperfect Skies" (Cake; 2006)

Reviewed by Jeff Rogers

Yet another Emo band to toss on the therapy couch. I know this stuff is supposed to be cool to chicks who think a guy that cries is sensitive, but I don’t get it. Believe me, I’ve tried and tried, but I haven’t cried.

The music is what you would expect. It’s full of emotion and soft solos that pull at your heart strings. Since I’m not an emotional marionette I don’t see the draw. This stuff is softer than a marshmallow pillow.

I found no originality and no inspiration in "Most Imperfect Skies" and I think I'm going to stop typing now.

Don't Die Cindy: Jonathan Hoffman – vocals; Steven Kopacz – drums; Ryan Nelson – bass/synth/keyboard; Patrick Hosey – guitar.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
