Veteran vocalist and host of Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius Radio, Michael Des Barres' "Hot N Sticky Live" is an adequate live recording of some of Des Barres' recent recordings thrown in with a few classic cover songs. Des Barres' soulful raspy voice and the CD's raw, live sound are plusses but, unless you're a Des Barres fan, there's not a lot here to be excited about. Certainly listenable enough but probably not something you'll go back to often.
