FAIR WARNING

"4" (Frontiers / Now & Then)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Melodic rock fans will no doubt find lots to like about Fair Warning. The band blends the radio-friendly sounds of Foreigner, Quiet Riot, Aerosmith, Van Halen and even Stryper(!) to create very smooth, crisp and easy rock'n'roll.

Those who prefer their music a little heavier should probably look elsewhere. Although Fair Warning sometimes kicks up the pace a bit, for the most part they are only slightly harder than Foreigner and never harder than Aerosmith. Basically, if you like the bigger radio hits of Bon Jovi, then Fair Warning might be right up your alley.
