"Free Ride" (Runaway Productions; 2006)

Reviewed by Snidermann

You can't judge a book by its cover. Well, that may be correct 99% of the time. Filthy White Trash and their "Free Ride" represent that the missing 1%.

The band's name and the cover image telegraph what you're going to hear. The music is loud and fast with both speed metal and punk influences. The lyrics are almost always about fighting, sex, drugs, booze ... and more sex. "Free Ride" is a load of laughs from start to finish. To paraphrase the band "we drink, we fight, we fuck", nothing more needs to be said.

Filthy White Trash pulls no punches with their music -- it is what it is and, if you don't like it, I can just hear the band giving you a resounding "fuck you!"
