FINAL REDEMPTION

"Vindicated Carnage" (Self-released; 2008)

Reviewed by Mike SOS

Don't let the banjo intro on Final Redemption's four-track offering dupe you; this Maryland-based death metal unit come out swinging with a heavy, brutal, and assaultive attack from the word go.

"Vindicated Carnage" demonstrates this act's interpretation of the burly death metal sound found across the U.S. complete with tried and true riffs, guttural barks, and non-stop percussive batterings employed by countless death metal squads.

Undeniably solid, yet predictable, this disc is serviceable to accommodate your fix for the extreme.
