HEATHEN HEARTS

"No Light Left to Chase" (Self-released; 2023)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

If you're looking for heavy and fast, Heathen Hearts give you just what you want on the four track EP, "No Light Left to Chase."

Each of the tracks on this EP is fast-paced and loaded with heavy guitar, crushing bass and thundering drums. The vocals are loud but controlled, giving each song a sense of barely restrained chaos. Aggressive and unrelenting, each track delivers a solid punch to the eardrum and you'll find yourself being happily pummeled throughout.

As with most EPs of this quality, the only complaint here is that there are only four tracks. I'm ready for more Heathen Hearts now.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
