HELLZ ABYSS

"N1FG" (Revenge of Eve Records; 2021)

One of the best perks from working here at RoughEdge.com is checking out bands that come out of nowhere and then blow your fucking socks off. Well, I have found one such band: Hellz Abyss from Australia.

Female singer, excellent music, killer writing, outstanding production and a shitload of attitude make this band simply one spectacular act worth your time. Simple and to the point, the music delivers a one-two punch to the music that is sorely lacking in the music scene of today.

The name of the recording is "N1FG." I don’t really know what that means, but it makes no difference. This is fun, in-your-face, loud, full of attitude and skill. Fifty-one minutes of outstanding rock'n'roll, mixed with enough attitude and moxie to get your face slapped in more than one country.

Rock'n'roll music should be fun, not stuffy and overproduced. I mean, that's okay in its own context, but not to the average rock and roller ... well, like me. And this music checks all the boxes.

Hellz Abyss gives me just what I'm looking for. They're full of piss and vinegar, loaded with attitude and rocking like there is no tomorrow. I would highly recommend this recording to any rock fan that is sick of the same old shit, because this, my friend, is not the same old shit.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
