"Hinterlands" (Ripple Music; 2021)

Reviewed by Mike SOS

"Hinterlands" is a crushing slab of rock'n'roll, with walls of hammering guitar interspersed with ethereal vocals and atmospheric breaks that only serve to enhance the album's heaviness.

This isn't so much an album of recorded music as it is a tsunami of sound. Light one up, put your headphones on, turn the stereo up to 10 and sit back and enjoy this bad boy. "Hinterlands" is guaranteed to overwhelm you with its stoner prog power.
