JETT BLACK

"Dead Town" (Fivecore; 2006)

Musical variety is what makes a good band great. It's not easy making music as varied as possible and still making it your own.

Jett Black's "Dead Town" gets points for the band's energy level but each song sounds just like the last one. I actually had to keep looking at my iPod to see whether the song had changed or not and I was often surprised that it had.

I'll give Jett Black two guitarsaws for the effort, but "Dead Town" just does not have any musical variety.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
