LOUD'N'NASTY

"Teaser Teaser" (Hellbound Recordings / Perris Records; 2005)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

"Teaser Teaser" is raunchy, raw 1980s glam metal that sounds like it came from the early days of Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd and the other bands that had bigger hair than drum kits and more makeup than Gene Simmons and Tammy Faye Baker combined.

This isn't the slick, corporate stuff the record labels pumped out back then, though. Instead, "Teaser Teaser" is roughly produced, grittily performed and with a sound straight from Hollywood's Sunset Strip (despite the fact it was recorded in Sweden).

Hardcore glam fans might possibly find the messiah in Loud'n'Nasty's "Teaser Teaser." Anyone looking for anything fresh and new are better off steering clear.

Loud'n'Nasty: Chris Loud - guitars, vocals; Rob Nasty - lead vocals, bass; T-Bone - drums.
