"Get an Oxygen Tank" (Bridge 9; 2000)
Reviewed by Mike SOS
Give Mental credit for keeping it real
throughout "Get an Oxygen Tank." The Massachusetts-based old school
hardcore band doesn't primp or pose throughout this 16-track collection.
Instead, this quartet throws everything they've got out there for you to absorb,
with a kind of intense pride that bands like Agnostic Front
always carried yet much of today's hardcore lacks.
Just check tracks like the tell-it-like-it-is
dialogue of "Chiller Than Most" and, when coupled with the DRI meets
breakneck musical style ringing through your head, you'll be throwing windmills and piling on for group sing-alongs in no time.

A classic. This record will kick your ass.
Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.
So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
