R.I.P. Records has a gem of a band in Morningstar and their release "Hell." The trio from Finland bring a mature, heavy, aggressive sound to the table that is both explosive and very easy to listen to.
At first I was only impressed by the sheer ferocity of the music but thought the vocals were a bit overdone. After spinning the CD a few times, however, I found the vocals to be thought-provoking, as well as a little more than a bit twisted. What fun!
The three bandmembers combine to make one of the hardest and freshest metal acts around. The musical compositions are well-crafted with rich symbolism that seem to jump out of the speakers and connect with your very soul. I look forward to seeing more of this bitchin' band in the future. Rock on, Morningstar!
Morningstar is: Ari Honkonen, guitar and vocals; Mikko Paavillaine, bass; Pasi Pasanen, drums.

So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the
cover makes you wanna hurl.
