ORGAN

"Volume of Hate" (Meltdown Records; 2006)

Reviewed by Snidermann

When the new Organ CD, "Volume of Hate," hit my mailbox, I was hoping they hadn't changed anything from the CD I last reviewed by them in 2003.

It took only a few cuts before I realized Organ had changed nothing; they are still the hard rocking metal act I reviewed earlier.

The new CD is entitled "Volume of Hate" and the CD features eight tracks that show the power and excellence of Organ. To put this review in perspective, I will say that Organ is as good as some of the heavier heavyweights in metal today, and I'm talking bands like In Flames and Soilwork.

Organ's "Volume of Hate" has it all: intensity, power, ability and charisma. Don't just take my word for it. Check them out. You'll be glad you did.

"Install the Underground" (Self-produced; 2003)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Organ's "Install The Underground" is an explosive rock'n'roll ride. Right from the start, the band plummets you into a barrage of music and it just blows me away that it is only three people making all that music.

Like Motorhead, Organ utilizes the talent of all three members to the hilt in order to make thunderous, righteous, in-your-face metal music. This music is nothing fancy, just straight ahead rock'n'roll with plenty of attitude and talent.  Bands like Organ are the reason I love to review music. They have all the right elements: attitude, talent, moxie and a killer sound that blew me the fuck away.

Organ: Gary Crider guitar & vocals; James Jackson - bass; Glenn Crider - drums.

Check out their website for a taste; you will not be disappointed,. While you're there, download some of Organ's music. I think you'll agree with me - Organ is great stuff!
