REQUIEM

"Mask of Damnation" (Sound Riot)

Reviewed by Snidermann

I knew little to nothing about Requiem before I received this CD. But I can tell you this: they rock hard and I like them. The music is grandiose in scale with hammering guitars (both rhythm and lead), thunderous bass and drums and a fucking awesome singer.

Requiem is larger than life, harder than most and definitely better to listen to loud. These cats know how to rock'n'roll. I was totally blown away by the sheer force and magnitude of this band's brand of power metal. Everything is perfect (maybe too perfect?).

If you like your music epic and larger than life, Requiem is the band for you. I didn't know much about Requiem going into this review, but I'm certainly going to find out more now!
