RUSSELL - GUNS

"Medusa" (Frontiers Music SRL; 2024)

Reviewed by Snidermann

When I saw a band called Russell - Guns, I thought to myself: "I know those names. Jack Russell from Great White and Tracii Guns from LA Guns." Well, that is just who this is. When theses two musicians get together, the music is pure magic. They bring their style of rock music from the late 80s and 90s into clear focus. But, instead of rehashing old glories, they are forging ahead with a clear and creative musical style that is both new and familiar at the same time.

The name of the recording is Medusa, and it rocks from note one right till the end. I personally love the LA Guns and Great White era of rock music and listening to this recording just brings me back.

Great music, outstanding collaboration and killer musicianship from the minds of two great rockers make Russell - Guns' "Medusa" an album to listen to.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
