SNOW WHITE'S POISON BITE

"Featuring Dr. Gruesome and the Gruesome Gory Horror Show" (Victory; 2013)

When you listen to the right music, it talks to your psyche and something happens in your soul that tells you that this is the music you were put on planet earth to listen to. That happened to me when I first listened to Snow White’s Poison Bite.

Granted, that has to be one of the oddest names of a band I have witnessed in some time. But, after just a few seconds of listening to this group, I found myself drawn into their peculiar musical universe.

The name of the CD is "Featuring: Dr. Gruesome And The Gruesome Gory Horror Show" and it includes a guest spot from The Misfits vocalist, Michael Graves. Their video is a YouTube phenom: "The End of Prom Night" (which you can catch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2ykA0-rPNo). It has over two million hits and is truly a sight to be seen.

The music has aspects of Rob Zombie, My Chemical Romance, GWAR, Slipknot, Mushroomhead and Alice Cooper, mixed in with their own special kind of insanity. Snow White's Poison Bite is one of the freshest bands I have come across in a while. Outrageous? Yes! Over the top? You bet! A killer CD? Most definitely. Snow White’s Poison Bite and their release Featuring: Dr. Gruesome And The Gruesome Gory Horror Show will drop Apr 16th, 3 ½ chain saws.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
