STUCK ON 8

"All I Know" (Self-Released)

Reviewed by Mike SOS

Stuck on 8 blends folk, rock and alternative, broadening their appeal while providing funky and jazzy (but never pretentious) compositions.

The band and its ever-changing lineup (including recently added female vocals and a second guitar) can jam with precision, as tracks like the grooving bass of "All I Know" and the acoustic alchemy of "Fear and Anger" prove. The subtle turmoil of "Stay With Me" is accentuated with guitar effects aplenty.

Falling somewhere between the angst of Live and the intensity of Dave Matthews, Stuck on 8's pop-rock potential is limitless.
