This soundtrack from the movie "Faust" is comparable to high velocity roller coaster ride. The CD is crammed full of hard rock tunes unlike anything I have heard since "The Matrix." The list of artists reads like a phone book of extreme artists and I would be remiss if I did not mention all of them:
Fear Factory
Coal Chamber
Type O Negative
Vision Of Disorder
Machine Head
Cradle Of Filth
Soul Fly
Ill Nina
Glass Jaw

Okay, I'll admit it: There are a few bands here that I am unfamiliar with and others that I would be hard pressed to listen to a full-length release. However, with just a song or two you get a taste of the music without having to endure an entire CD. So the good overcomes the bad.

I also know nothing about the movie, but if the artwork on the CD is any indication - with its blood and beautiful women - maybe I will check it out.

As far as compilations go, this one rocks. HARD.
