Virus 7, with their release, "Sick In The Head," is not what you simply call traditional heavy metal. Virus 7 are that and much more.
From the opening strains of this CD, I sensed something unique and absolutely impressive about this band. V7 uses hard-hitting, in-your-face-direct and knife-in-the-heart-emotional lyrics mixed with killer fucking music to make a truly complete and explosive musical experience.
Virus 7 rocks and not only with its metal heart, but also with a highly intelligent view of metal that is both refreshing and truly exciting. It's bands like this that make me feel so confident about the state of metal today! Metal Blade has a certifiable hit with Virus 7.
