by R. Scott Bolton

It was a very good, if not great, year for hard rock, heavy metal and punk. And 2009's looking pretty good, too. Here's my Top Ten albums for 2008, plus a few honorable mentions that almost made the cut. MOTLEY CRUE "Saints of Los Angeles"
JUDAS PRIEST "Nostradamus"
NEIGHBORHOOD BULLIES "What?"
SAMMY HAGAR "Cosmic Universal Fashion"

RAGE "Carved in Stone"
EDGAR WINTER "Rebel Road"
METAL CHURCH "This Present Wasteland"
METALIUM "Incubus Chapter 7"
SOUND AND FURY "Sound and Fury"
