...Also new in stores (on September 25th) is "The Best of BRUCE DICKINSON," featuring a double-CD collection of the IRON MAIDEN frontman's solo work. The Limited Edition double-CD will contain two new songs recorded specifically for this recording as well as previously unavailable material such as the original version of the Maiden tune, "Bring Your Daughter ... ...QUEENSRYCHE has planned a blood drive on September 25 to benefit those in need after the terrorist attacks in New York with a listening party of the band's new live double-CD, "Live Evolution." The CD was recorded at two concerts at Seattle's Moore Theater in July 2001. A live DVD is planned for release on October 9th. The blood-donation event will take place at the Stadium Exhibition Center (South Royal Brougham and Occidental) in the Second Floor Conference Room between noon and 6 p.m. with the listening party to follow. We also wanted to continue our long-standing record of  innovation and 'firsts' with the Internet and the online community. ...The legendary ALICE COOPER, who released one of last year's best albums ("Brutal Planet") recently received the Living Legend Award from the International Horror Guild. Cooper is the first recipient outside of the literary profession to ever receive the award. Previous recipients include Ray Bradbury and Clive Barker.
