PICKS OF THE WEEK
BEING JOHN MALKOVICH (USA Entertainment)
Starring John Malkovich, Cameron Diaz, Catherine Keener
The stunningly original film - all but totally overlooked by this year's Oscars - in which a group of individuals finds a portal that leads them directly into the mind of actor John Malkovich. Look up the word "original" in the dictionary and there should be a picture of this thought-provoking comedy/drama. Well-written, directed with intelligence by Spike Jonze and loaded with excellent performances (especially Malkovich as himself and a standout performance by Cameron Diaz). Highly recommended. Rated R; 113m. Also available on DVD featuring widescreen presentation; Dolby; theatrical trailers and TV spots; documentaries; interviews; a photo gallery. $24.98.

GALAXY QUEST (Dreamworks)
Starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub

PICKS OF THE WEEK
