Based on the popular underground comic, this critically acclaimed film is about a pair of recent high school graduates who are entering the real world together. Trouble is, they're both pretty intolerant of ... well, pretty much anyone else ... and their attitudes toward life don't make their journey from high school to real life any easier. Great performances from a terrific cast illicit some damned interesting characters but the bottom line is that the storyline itself is surprisingly bland. Still, most thought more of this than I. Any time you get Sean Bean as a bad guy and Oliver Platt at all makes it worth the viewing time. Rated R; 115 min. Getting highest marks here are Damon and Affleck who poke so much fun about themselves, you can't help but like them even if they are incredibly successful bastards.
